Ask Us About Our Remote Direct Visual Inspection (RDVI) Service
What is Remote Direct Visual Inspection?
There are various services we offer to test or inspect your assets. RDVI which is also called RVI or remote visual inspection is a way of testing commercial and industrial assets using visual instruments. Remote Direct Visual Inspection is also a form of NDT (Non-destructive Testing) of which Asset Integrity Inspections has years of experience.
What Equipment is Used for RVI?
Technology has advanced to a point where companies are able able to use unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Our experienced asset inspectors and testers use drones to go into areas that were otherwise hard to reach or not accessible. This allows for a thorough inspection of your assets and to obtain information via visual data, thereby providing a concise report on the plant oper-ability and health of your assets.
Why Use RDVI?
RVI is great for assessing the oper-ability of your equipment on an ongoing basis. Regular maintenance checks and testing will ensure your assets perform optimally. The down side of not using RDVI is that you risk your plant equipment shut down for repair and / or the safety of your workers. If you are aware ahead of time that your pipes, vessels or other assets need repair you could avoid a catastrophy both on a business financial level and a staff safety level. RDVI and our qualified testers will detect an issue and then set about repairing it. We provide weld inspection or Weld training and manuals so that the repair is done to standard.
